Zoey and Kyle both love to cook. Kyle is getting good enough at it now that he can do alot without being that supervised. Not like I leave him alone to make pot roast or something, but he does well within limits. Here is my crazy cook in action..
Zoey is Mommy's number one helper in the kitchen. She loves to be the egg cracker and microwave button pusher. We made "cookie pizza" the other day and she was the chocolate chip cookie tester! LOL She had so much fun decorating her cookie pizza for everyone.
Funny story about this cookie pizza...
We had to go to daycare on Wednesday and I had told Zoey the night before that she could have the last piece of cookie pizza for breakfast. She was excited and ran downstairs when she remembered. Well unfortunately, I had forgotten to tell Daddy about the cookie pizza deal, and he ate it! Zoey had a massive meltdown in the middle of the kitchen floor. Sobbing...screaming..etc. over the cookie pizza.
When her Daddy got home from work, she couldn't wait to get to him..running to the stairs and getting so angry that the baby gate was up. Grabbing the baby gate..shaking the thing to try and get it to come off the stairs. She was frantic to get to him. I thought it was really cute that she couldn't wait to get to Daddy. When she finally got someone to take the gate down, she ran up to him, and in a very stern voice said..."Daddy...you ate my cookie pizza!" Poor Bryan was trying not to laugh at her obvious frustration with him. He apologized and told her how sorry he was, that he didn't know it was hers. After much hugging, she said "It's ok Daddy, I still love you. We are going to make another one this weekend" and then began to babble about everything they did at daycare. She just needed him to know she wasn't happy!
