Zoey's new bike!

So it was a wonderfully sunny day here at home, and we were out in the backyard playing on the swings and toys. "Suddenly" (Zoey's new favorite word) she decided to get out her tricycle and ride it around. In one year's time that little girl went from being on the smallest setting possible to outgrowing the darn thing! ACK!

Today...off we went to find a new bike! We hit Fred Meyer first, but their selection of little kid bikes was terrible. We did find a great bike "hat" on clearance though, and Zoey loves it because it has CATS on it! As her Grandma is the crazy cat lady, we thought it was totally perfect. It is slightly too big, but with the extra padding on the inside it is snug to her head. It looks totally too big for her though!

Anyway, we went to Walmart and there it was...the most perfect bike of all and it was PINK! Zoey fell in love and rode it all over the bike department. She cried and cried when we told her we needed to put it in the cart, but she was much happier if she rode in the cart WITH her bike. Mommy couldn't stand it and bought her a little horn and a little basket for it too. Mommy had a basket on her little bike, so Zoey needed one too.

After nap...we put on the appropriate bike riding gear and took off out the front door! She is an amazing bike rider!!

We had so much fun!! Zoey can't wait to ride again tomorrow. Cross your fingers it doesn't rain!
